Fiona’s Story
Posted on: 22 Sept
Fiona’s challenges were many. She was bullied at school, felt isolated, and often clashed with her mother at home. Her mother, although full of love, felt helpless and worried she was not doing enough for her daughter.

Through many conversations, we helped her mother see Fiona’s strengths and understand that a diagnosis was not a limitation but a guide to the right support. Slowly, fear gave way to hope, and her mother began to feel more confident in supporting her daughter.
Once Fiona’s first NDIS plan was approved, we worked with the family to access services that mattered most, building strategies at home and school that supported Fiona’s needs. The transformation has been remarkable: Fiona is more confident, more engaged at school, and closer to her family. Her mother now celebrates her daughter’s achievements with patience and understanding.
Fiona’s story is a reminder that understanding and compassion, combined with the right support, can transform fear into hope and open doors to new possibilities.
